NBL goes All-Star
  

The teams for the annual NBL Division One Mens All Star match, to be held at
the Guildford Spectrum (1.00 p.m.) on Sunday 14th March, were announced by the English Basketball Association. The Men's line up includes two former Budweiser League All-Star picks and sees brothers Neil and Alan Hopper facing each other on the rival teams. Coaching the teams are Teesside's Tony Hanson and the man who he thwarted in January's Trophy final, Plymouth's Gary Stronach. The number of overseas players are restricted in the NBL's showpiece game in a bid to promote homegrown talent. The South hold a 3-1 all time lead in the event.

The teams for the second NBL Division One Womens All Star match, to be held
at the Riverside Leisure Centre, Chelmsford (3.00 p.m.) on Sunday 14th March,
were also name, with the North's team dominated by Sheffield and Nottingham with three representiives each.

Last season, in the first All Star Game at Manchester, the North beat the
South All Stars by the smallest possible margin, 64 - 63.

Before the game there is an England Junior Womens International against
