Amaechi and Dorsey lead All-Star line ups

John Amaechi of Sheffield Sharks and Tony Dorsey of Peugeot Bullets Birmingham lead the North and South teams for the Dairylea Dunkers All-Star Game on 22 March at Sheffield Arena. Two coaches will make their All-Star debuts with Craig Lynch of Newcastle coaching the Northern selection, while Billy Mims of Leopards will call the shots for the Southern side. Every team in the League will be represented, with Alan Hopper of Watford Royals earning a wild card selection from Mims.

Nigel Lloyd of Birmingham will make his sixth All-Star appearance, one behind the record seven jointly held by Russ Saunders and Peter Scantlebury. The major omissions are Thames Valley's Casey Arena who leads the league in steals and is third in assists, and Makeba Perry of Leopards who has a league high 11.89 rebounds per game.
