The BBL side now need a favour from domestic rivals Birmingham to advance with Towers hoping that the Bullets can overcome Polonia Warbud next week to send them through at the expense of the Polish side.
Despite a game-high 35 points from Terrell Myers, London trailed for much of the tie and were 48-38 down at half-time. However they fought back to level at 80-80 with two minutes left.
An Emil Stamenov three was cancelled out by one from Myers but the hosts snatched victory in a final decisive twist.
