Milton Keynes Lions
continued their good run of form against the Kinder London Towers with
an 86-74 success as the re-shaped capital outfit dropped their third in
a row.
Lions started well
and though Towers rallied a 10-0 burst by Jason Siemon and Andrew Alleyne
had the home side 25-13 clear. Towers closed back to four at the break,
but two threes from Nigel Lloyd helped Lions back into a double-digit lead.
Lions lead peaked at 78-61 five miuntes from the end.
Andrew Alleyne led
all scorers with 23 points, whilst Jason Siemon grabbed 15 boards to go
with his 18 points.

In a thrilling match
Pertemps Bullets Birmingham outslugged Newcastle Eagles 114-110, but they
not without requirng an extra five minutes to do so.
Newcastle led by
16 in the first quarter, but Birmingham clawed their way back to take the
led in the third period. Bullets were 98-94 up 30s from the end, but a
three by TJ Walker was followed by two free throw misses from Rob Paternosro
allowing Walker to level the game from the line with 10 seconds left. He
couldn't win it with his second shot though and overtime ensued.
It was tight again
in overtime but four Rashod Johnson free throws settled the matter.
Walker led all scorers
with 29 whilst Antonio Garcia had a mammoth 25 point, 25 rebound game.
