BBL Championship
Kinder London Towers       95     (16,42,68)       (Myers 30, White 21, Youngblood 13)
Thames Valley Tigers        72     (21,43,58)       (Meldrum 22, Robinson 14, Martin/Burks 13)

Kinder London Towers overcame a slow start to register their eighth win of the Championship campaign over Southern Conference leaders Thames Valley Tigers. Despite being without injured guard Barry Bowman (knee), some fine play from Michael Martin and thunderous dunks from Kelvin Robinson saw Thames Valley romp into a 40-29 lead. A 13-3 tear to the half-time buzzer by the Towers, though. saw them only down one at the break. Robert Youngblood sparked a good start to the second half by the Towers, and though Thames Valley rallied with three threes from Greg Meldrum in the fourth, Terrell Myers and Brett Eppehimer connected from behind the arc to finish the Tigers off. Towers netted the last 10 points of the game to pad their winning margin. Myers was in sparkling form with half his 30 points coming from downtown, while Meldrum led the Tigers with 22.
