Chester Jets 94 (23,47,63) (Thomas 23, McCord 20, Hamilton 19)

Chester Jets snatched top spot in the Northern Conference away from Leicester Riders with a 79-94 victory at Loughborough.

Jets enjoyed much of the lead, but couldn't shake off the Riders and with 3.30 to go in the game the
home side led 75-73. But threes from John Thomas and James Hamilton sparked a 21-4 finish by
Chester. Thomas netted 23 for Chester but Jermaine Brown led all scorers with 30 points.

BBL Trophy, group stages

Derby Storm 68 (15,28,51) (Kennedy 17, Miller 14, Griffin 12)
DG London Leopards Kool Kats 106 (39,57,81) (Brown 23, Alderson 18, Robinson 17)

Leopards secured their place in the BBL Trophy quarter-finals with a 68-106 victory over Derby Storm.

Leopards roared out of the blocks with a 21-6 start to the game. The result was safe by the interval
with a 11-2 run giving the Londoners a 32-10 lead with still 2.44 to go to half-time. Rod Brown led all scorers with 23 points.

Pertemps Bullets Birmingham 78 (22,37,58) (Bailey 24, Walker 17, Craven 12)
Kinder London Towers 85 (22,37,59) (Eppehimer 22, Kent 16, Hickey/White 13)

All four quarter-finalists are now known in Group B of the BBL Trophy after Kinder London Towers
78-85 victory at Pertemps Bullets Birmingham. Towers, Milton Keynes, Sheffield and Newcastle are all now into the last eight.

It was even for three quarters, but with Ben Walker sidelined with an ankle injury, Towers started the final period 12-2 in the first five minutes to lead 71-60. Danny Craven sparked a Bullets rally though and with 50s left it was 77-78 to Towers. A Brett Eppehimer bucket with 28s remaining allowed Towers to finish it from the foul line and send Bullets crashing out.
