Chester Jets still top the Northern Conference after a 101-89 win over London Towers, a 13-1 burst at the outset of the fourth quarter spurring Robbie Peers' side to victory over the ailing capital outfit.

Jets enjoyed the better of the first half, building up a 53-46 half-time lead, but Towers rallied in the third quarter with the first seven points to tie the game at 53-53. The game remained nip and tuck for the rest of the quarter and the sides were level at 77-77 heading into the fourth period. Jets began
with a 15-3 run in the fourth and never looked back. John Thomas bagged 23 points for Chester, but
it was Towers' Terrell Myers who led all scorers with 27 points.

Nurishment Leicester Riders won the East Midlands derby on Sunday evening - a thrilling 71-70
success over Derby Storm at Loughborough University Sport Centre. A close encounter mirrored the
fierce local rivalry, with Derby just edging the first half, leading 40-35 at half-time, despite the
absence of Kevin Griffin to a knee injury. In the third quarter, Derby enjoyed an 11-4 tear, but
that was sandwiched in between 10-1 and 10-0 runs from the Riders, as Leicester pulled out a 61-55
lead heading into the final quarter. Derby kept the Riders to just ten points in the fourth period,
but it was not enough to prevent a Riders' win. Durrell Robinson led Derby's scoring with 21 points,
while Leicester welcomed Ralph Blalock back from injury as he led all scorers with 23 points.

Milton Keynes Lions picked up their third win of the season in the BBL Championship, beating Southern Conference leaders Thames Valley Tigers 90-72 on Sunday afternoon. 

After an even start, Tigers edged the first quarter, bagging seven unaswered points to lead 27-22 at the end of the period. Following a close second quarter, Lions began the third period with an 11-1 tear to lead 50-42 and although Tigers rallied to a 57-56 lead, Lions finished out the quarter 61-57 to the good. In the end, runs of 12-4 and 12-2 in the fourth saw the Lions to victory. 

Eric Burks bagged 16 points for the Tigers, but it was Lions' Barbados international, Andrew Alleyne, who shone with 31 personal points - double his season average.

Edinburgh Rocks                          73     (20,40,50)       (Gardner 16, Berry 14, Huntley 12)

Edinburgh Rocks snapped their five game losing streak, leading from start to finish to defeat Manchester Giants 62-73 in the BBL Championship. The Meadowbank outfit, spurred by Roy Gardner's 18 points, gained a ten point cushion in the first quarter over their winless hosts,  Rocks then stopping the Giants from scoring at all for a five minute period either side of the first
interval, the Scots' advantage peaking at 13 at half-time.

Giants fought back in the third period to come within four as Rocks starters fell into foul trouble but depiste a game-best 18 points from Rick Mickens, they faded away again.
