Brighton Bears ended Westfield Sharks Sheffield's undeafeated start to the season with a surprise 71-65 victory. A close game throughout with the Bears enjoying a 7-0 run around the half time break to establish a third quarter lead. Sheffield closed back to 62-60, but Sterling Davis helped the Bears to victory. Randy Duck led all scorers with 20 points, while Lynard Stewart led the Sharks scoring with 19. 
 

Newcastle Eagles 89 (26,43,65) (Myers 21, Walker/Whyte 20)
Chester Jets 102 (20,51,74) (McCord 30, Hamilton 28, Davis 20)

Chester Jets maintain the only 100% record in the BBL Championship with a 89-102 victory over a Newcastle Eagles side which was minus the injured Malcolm Leak. With the game reasonably close throughout the first half, Chester started to pull away in the final two quarters with John McCord bagging 8 points individually to take the Jets 100-78 clear in the final quarter after the hosts had launched a spirited rally. 

McCord himself top scored for the Jets with 30 points, while the Eagles scoring was led by Shawn Myers with 21. 
 

Thames Valley Tigers 85 (22,45,62) (Burks 19, Meldrum 18, Bowman 17)
Pertemps Bullets Birmingham 78 (21,42,57) (Bailey 24, Paternostro 18, Walker 13)

Thames Valley Tigers leapfrog over the Pertemps Bullets Birmingham in the Southern Conference with a 85-78 victory. An even start to the game was topped with a 15-5 run for the Bullets at the start of the second, but a 13-0 tear for the Tigers took the score to 45-42 at the half. Thames Valley went into a double figure lead, and a 6-0 run at the end from Bullets wasn't enough.  Brant Bailey 
led all scorers with 24 points, while Eric Burks top scored for the Tigers with 19. 
 

Leicester Riders 96 (23,47,68) (Blalock 26, Singleton 25, Gaines 15)
Milton Keynes Lions 92 (24,43,67) (Alleyne 25, Russell 18, Kirk 15)

Leicester Riders won their third game in a row with a 96-92 victory over the Milton Keynes Lions.  The game was even throughout with both sides having slender leads for the duration. In the final quarter, Ralph Blalock and Michael New sparked a 9-2 tear to take the score to 92-86 and secure victory for the Riders. Blalock led all scorers with 26 points, while for the Lions, Andrew Alleyne had 25.
