Sheffield maintained their 100% start to the BBL Championship campaign
with a hard fought 78-72 victory over the Milton Keynes Lions, ensuring
them sole occupancy of top spot in the Northern Conference.
The Sharks put together
a late 9-0 tear to take a 66-59 lead with 5 minutes remaining and then
shot well from the charity stripe to seal the win. Earlier a Lions side
missing injured centre Jason Siemon fought back well from a 22-14 first
quarter deficit to post a 11-4 3rd quarter run and take a 52-49 lead.
