Nurishment Leicester Riders' season continued to gain momentum after a shaky start defeating the Derby Storm 98-86 on Sunday night.

Storm fought back and when they scored 6 without reply late on the trailed by just 4 at 78-74 but they could get no closer. Riders Ralph Blalock was again in impressive form with 36 points.

Milton Keynes     72     (14,35,58)       (Lloyd 23, Kirk 13, Noel 11)

Westfield Sharks Sheffield maintained their 100% start to the BBL Championship campaign with a hard fought 78-72 victory over the Milton Keynes Lions, ensuring them sole occupancy of top spot in the Northern Conference.

The Sharks put together a late 9-0 tear to take a 66-59 lead with 5 minutes remaining and then shot well from the charity stripe to seal the win. Earlier a Lions side missing injured centre Jason Siemon fought back well from a 22-14 first quarter deficit to post a 11-4 3rd quarter run and take a 52-49 lead.
