Tigers bounced back from Wednesdays defeat at the hands of Manchester to
record a 115-94 victory over the Natural Flow Newcastle Eagles on Saturday
night in Bracknell.
The Tigers rattled
off an early 14-2 burst to take a 20-9 lead which they were never to relinquish
against a Newcastle side clearly suffering from their late heroics of the
previous evening.
Nonetheless Eagles
- led by Brian Ehlers' 22 - caused a late scare, netting nine without reply
to trim the deficit to 102-94 with three minutes remaining but the Tigers
scored the final 13 points of the game.
Tigers' John McCord
top scored with 37 points, Tony Christie adding 23.
