Even without Nate Reinking, Westfield Sharks Sheffield overtook Chester Jets at the helm of the BBL Championship Northern Conference after a hard fought 82-78 victory over the Newcastle Eagles on Friday night at Sheffield Arena.
 
Newcastle led for much of the contest, up 36-39 at half-time but could not hold their advantage.

Reinking - who had a muscle strain - was not missed as his team came good in the final quarter as cool shooting from the charity stripe saw them home after Eagles had lost crucial centre Ian Whyte who fouled
out of the game with 3 minutes remaining.
 
Sharks, for whom Nate Reinking did not play due to a muscle strain, were led by Terrell Myers 24 points.

Tony Windless notching a game-high 26 points for Newcastle who travel to face Edinburgh on Sunday.
