Newcastle
Eagles padded their cushion in third place in the BBL Northern Conference
with a 92-76 victory over the Edinburgh Rocks.
Newcastle opened
up an 12 point first quarter lead and by half-time they had doubled that
to 58-36.
However the match
was marred by a fracas in the final quarter which saw ex-Eagles favourite
Chris Webber, plus present home duo TJ Walker ejected as a result.
All Star MVP Tony
Windless was again in fine form with a game-leading 29 points, while Rock
Winston notched 20 for the Rocks who have now lost 15 in a row.
