London Towers
opening NEBL fixture on Monday night against Lithuanians Siauliai was postponed
after the British side could not reach the Dutch venue of Den Helder due
to weather problems.
In a bizarre press
release, the NBL said "Luckily everyone stayed alive and safe in the London
team by gaining a possibility of testing the Siauliai basketball skills
some time later."
The match will be
played at a future date.
No decision has been
reached on whether Tuesday's contest between Towers and Ventspils will
go ahead. The Lithuanians defeated Conesco Den Helder 64-67 on Monday.
