London Leopards
moved up to second place in the BBL Championship Southern Conference with
a 72-78 victory at the Milton Keynes Lions on Wednesday night.
The Leopards rattled
off the final nine points of the game to come from behind to defeat the
Lions. Earlier the Lions put together a 14-4 burst to lead 34-19 and led
from that point until with 2 minutes remaining at 72-69.
The Leopards then
held them scoreless for the remainder
of the game to seal
the win. Leopards Jason Kimbrough led all scorers with 25 points.
Merrill Brunson responded
with 20 for Lions.
