Lions trump coach-less

Milton Keynes Lions mantained their 100%
start to the uni-ball trophy campaign with an 80-71 victory over Edinburgh
Rocks.
The Scots, whose
coach Greg Lockridge had been fired earlier in the day, were
still in contention at half-time but a 16-5 start to the second half put
Lions 20 points clear and though Rocks rallied in the fourth to rim it
back to 74-68 in the final quarter, the Lions held on to extend their lead
at the top of
uni-ball trophy Group C.
Jason Siemon led the way with 25 points,
whilst Merrill Brunson was
impressive behind the arc with five three-pointers.
Rock Winston and Jo-Jo Chambers hit 19
for Edinburgh who were coached by Iain Maclean.
