Milton Keynes
Lions maintained their pursuit of the Leopards in second place in the Southern
Conference with
a 79-64 victory over the Derby Storm.
It was not as comfortable
as the scoreline might suggest, the Lions only made the game safe in the
dying minutes, scoring the last 11 points. Earlier a couple of Merrill
Brunson threes had given the Lions a little cushion leading 58-50 going
into the final period.
Andrew Alleyne led
the home side with 21 points while Jermaine Brown took his weekend tally
to 60 points with 27 for the Storm.
