Newcastle Eagles picked up their second victory over Manchester Giants in seven days, this time in the shape of a 72-93 win in the BBL at MEN Arena.

Eagles raced out of the blocks to open up a commanding 12-23 first quarter advantage, and a strong showing in the second period built a strong lead at 24-46.

The hosts briefly attempted a revival in the final quarter, cutting the gap to just 14, but it came too late.
