Nigel Lloyd
led by example top scoring with 20 points as his Milton Keynes Lions side
defeated Manchester Giants 63-71 in Manchester on Saturday evening.
In what was a low
scoring affair, Lions came from behind to win. They trailed 38-33
at half time and 51-44 at the end of the third, but outscored the
Giants 27-12 in the final period to see off the home side who were without
injured point guard Brian Earl.
Tony Holley scored
14 points for Manchester.
