If - as
now seems likely - reigning champions Manchester Giants suffer the indignity
of missing out altogether on the play-offs, they will surely look back
the losses sustained to the BBL's bottom three sides.
Derby Storm joined
that club on Thursday, putting a huge dent in the playoff aspirations of
the Giants by coming from behind to defeat their hosts 85-99.
The Storm were led
by a game high 26 points from Barry Bowman as they rattled off an impressive
37 points to come from 64-62 behind at three quarter time.
The victory lifts
Storm four points clear of the Edinburgh Rocks at the foot of the Northern
Conference.
Giants were led by
23 points from Julius Joseph.
