Derby Storm jumped two places to fifth in the BBL Northern Conference with a 90-97 victory at Manchester Giants.

Barry Bowman led the Storm with 29 points as they secured their second Championship win of the season from the foul line in the final minute in a match in which they had seemed to have comfortably under control.

Up 21-25 after one quarter, Derby edged 10 points clear by the interval and started the second half with seven unanswered points to lead 38-55. 

But the home side rallied to trim the gap to just three in the fourth quarter before the Storm pulled again in front, Antonio Garcia's 24 points contributing heavily to a result.

Justin Phoenix led Giants with 23, Tony Holley adding 21.
