Brighton
Bears recorded a much needed victory on Saturday night defeating the Manchester
Giants 68-69 at MEN Arena, the second loss in 24 hours for Andre Alleyne's
side.
Giants led 34-13
at half-time but Brighton stormed back to nab a 46-53 advantage entering
the final period. However the hosts looked to have the game under
control after an 11-0 run put them in front once more before Bears' Kevin
Wallace scoring two crucial late free throws to secure the
win for his team
in the dying seconds.
Demetric Reese and
Brian Earl both had 19 points to lead their sides.
