London Towers
dealt out some capital punishment to Edinburgh Rocks on Wednesday night
as the Scots collapsed to a 104-66 defeat at Crystal Palace.
The result established
a club record of 19 straight BBL victories for the Southern Conference
leaders and was only in doubt when the visitors took a 0-2 lead. After
that it was one-way traffic as Edinburgh - minus coach Iain Maclean - fell
46-33 behind by the interval, a cushion which Nick Nurse's men increased
until the end.
Eric Burks bagged
26 points for London as they finished the game strong, winning the final
quarter 32-12. Jo-Jo Chambers led the Rocks with 16 while colleague Ted
Berry - clearly hampered by an ankle injury - was held scoreless.
