Leopards took a big
step towards securing the runners up berth in the BBL Championship Southern
Conference with a 90-83 success over their nearest challengers the Milton
Keynes Lions on Thursday night.
The Leopards put
together a 13-2 burst to start the final quarter to come from behind to
take a
76-71 lead which
they never relinquished.
Earlier the Lions
had posted a 14-2 tear to take control at 41-29 in the second quarter.
Lions Jason Siemon
top scored with 31 points but it was Leopards Rico Alderson who stole the
show with 18 points and 18 boards.
