Wallace leads Chester's
advance
Chester Jets booked their uni-ball trophy
quarter-final berth with a 87-98 victory at the London
Leopards at Brentwood.
Both sides enjoyed first half leads, but
a 9-1 run by the home side levelled things at 55 early in
the third quarter. The Jets held the Leopards
- without injured guard Rashod Johnson - scoreless for the opening three
minutes of the fourth quarter to open up an 73-81 advantage they would
never lose.
Tarik Wallace with 27 points and Loren
Meyer on 25 led the Jets while 22 from Rico Alderson was Leopards' high.
