Leopards on course
for Trophy progress
London Leopards remain on top of uni-ball
Trophy Group A with three wins out of three after their 102-89 home success
against Brighton Bears on Thursday at Brentwood.
Even minus
injured enforcer Maurice Robinson, Bob Donewald's side controlled
the contest throughout, hitting 9-0 runs in the first and second quarters,
to help themselves to a 16-point half-time advantage.
Bears fought back to within seven points
at 88-81 in the fourth quarter, but
it was not enough. Jason Kimbrough, Rashod
Johnson and Michael Martin each bagged 21 points for the hometown Leopards,
while Wilbur Johnson added 31 for the Bears who have yet to get off the
mark in the pool.
