Leicester Riders took a first win at their new Loughborough home - and
their first BBL points of the campaign - on Wednesday night, thrashing
Westfield Sharks Sheffield 115-95.
And it was 29 points
from Freddie Cole which was the highlight for Leicester, who raced out
to a 12 points lead in the first quarter but really put the game
beyond their visitors with a 9-0 tear that gave them a 70-49 lead midway
through the third quarter.
Larry Johnson and
Purnell Perry each added 23 for Leicester, while Sheffield's response was
led by 19 from Zac Bennett.
