Jet Lag?
No problem.
London Leopards crowned
their return to BBL action, following a three-week absence touring America,
with a 95-107 away win over Leicester Riders on Saturday evening.
Maurice Robinson
continued his tremendous Stateside form by scoring a game-high 31 points,
12 of which came in the first quarter alone.
After a relatively
even start to the game, Leopards scored the last ten points of the first
quarter to lead 23-35. Riders slowly clawed their way back and a 7-0 tear
in fourth quarter reduced the arrears to six points at 78-84, but an 11-0
Leopards run put the visitors in the driving seat once
more.
Purnell Perry scored
30 points for the Riders, while Malcolm Leak netted 23 on his return to
the Riders' line-up.
