Chester
Jets once again put up some big numbers to retain their 100% record with
a 88-107 victory away to Leicester Riders on Saturday.
Purnell Perry scored
an impressive 40 points for Leicester - the highest individual tally of
the season so far - but it was not enough to keep Chester at bay.
Loren Meyer showed
some of the form that made him an NBA draft choice in 1995, notching up
31 points for Chester and he played a key part as Jets pulled away to a
57-40 half-time advantage with a 17-2 run.
They maintained their
advantage in the second half too, for what turned out to be a comfortable
win to move to joint top in the Northern Conference.
