Manchester
Giants kept alive their slim hopes of making the end of season play offs
- for 24 hours at least - with a 73-92 road victory over the Edinburgh
Rocks on Saturday night.
The Giants shook
off an early flurry from the hosts with a 2-16 first quarter run, holding
their own until the Scots rallied to 42-43 at half-time.
A score from Rock
Winston subsequently put the hosts in front but it offered false hope.
Giants ran off 13 without reply as Edinburgh folded, despite the determined
efforts of Ted Berry who led his side with 22 points.
The Giants were led
by 24 points from Justin Phoenix and Julius Joseph.
