Jets maintained the pressure on Westfield Sharks at the top of the BBL
Championship Northern Conference with a 80-99 success over the struggling
Edinburgh Rocks, the Scots racking up a club-record 12th straight loss..
The Jets broke the
back of some dogged Rocks resistance with a 27-19 2nd quarter helping them
to a double figure advantage at 50-39 which they extended gradually throughout
the third keeping their hosts at arms length throughout.
Jets James Hamilton
was in explosive form scoring a game high 35 points, Loren Meyer adding
21 points and 10 rebounds.
Rock Winston notched
28 to lead Edinburgh with returning Ross Szifris marking his second deut
for the club with a confident 12 points display.
