An impressive 32 point haul from Barry Bowman helped Derby Storm to secure a third BBL win of the season, recording a 102-82 upset of Thames Valley Tigers at the Thunderdome.

The Storm were quickest out of the blocks, scoring 21 of the first 27 points and they led by nine points at the end of the first quarter.

Although the visitors staged a comeback in the third period through a 3-14 run, which reduced the arrears to five points at 66-61, the Storm rebuilt their lead to make it a relatively comfortable win. 

John McCord led the Tigers with 24, Chandar Bingham adding 21.
