Leicester
Riders have bragging rights in the East Midlands following their tense
96-101 victory over the Derby Storm on Saturday night.
After trailing 50-52
at half-time, the hosts looked to be in command leading 90-83 with 4m remaining
but the Riders rattled five three pointers in a late 15-4 tear to turn
the game around and lead 98-94 with 1m 16s remaining. The Riders then held
on to secure the crucial two league points.
Riders Larry Johnson
was the games leading scorer with 33 points while Jumaine Brown hit 32
for the still struggling Storm.
