Riders prepared themselves for Sunday's ntl National Cup Final with a 94-95
win at arch-rivals Derby Storm on Friday.
Derby broke open
a tense start and bossed the second quarter to take a 51-39 lead into the
break.
However Riders controlled
the third to come back to within six and eventually snatched the advantage.
Ralph Blalock netted two free throws 21s from the end to give Billy Mims
side the lead and when Brian Balser's three with 5s left rimmed out, it
was curtains for the Storm.
Jermaine Brown led
the Storm with 25, a tally matched by Purnell Perry of Leicester.
