Brighton Bears secured
their second win of the BBL Championship season, defeating Derby Storm
74-83.
Bears led 46-56 going
into the final quarter of play, but were given a scare by the hometown
Storm, who hit an 8-0 tear to bring the score to within one point at 60-61.
It was not enough,
as Bears responded with a 9-2 run and went on to win the game. Kevin Wallace
was the Bears top marksman with 20 points, but Derby's latest recruit,
Antonio Garcia led all scorers with 26 points.
