Chester
Jets picked up their fifth successive victory with a 102-96 success at
home to Thames Valley Tigers in a BBL Championship cross-conference game
at the Northgate Arena.
With Jets leading
by 12 points at half-time - 48-36 - Robbie Peers' men really turned the
screw in the third quarter, raining in three pointers to extend their lead
out to 86-64 by the end of the quarter. Tigers hit back in the fourth with
a 1-13 run while Peers ran his bench, but Jets were too far ahead.
Jets' duo of James
Hamiton and Loren Meyer were once again in sparkling form with 36 and 29
points respectively, while Tigers' John McCord led Thames Valley's scoring
with 26 points.
