Chester
Jets defeated the Westfield Sharks Sheffield 87-81 to re-take a two point
advantage at the top of the BBL Championship Northern conference.
Ex-NBA player, Loren
Meyer, was the star man for the Jets, with a game-high 29 points, although
Chester far from ran away with the game.
It was a close and
exciting contest throughout, though Jets looked to have taken the upper
hand when they edged out to a 5-point lead early in the final quarter.
Sharks came back
into the game with a 12-5 run to lead
by two points at
78-80, but when Michael Payne missed a three in the closing stages, the
game was safe for Jets.
