Chester
Jets extended their unbeaten run in the BBL Championship to nine games
with a 90-79 success over Derby Storm.
After a reasonably
close first half, the game was broken open in the third quarter by a 27-2
Jets' run, which turned a one-point Chester advantage into a 26-point lead
at 73-47.
Derby rallied with
a 2-13 run in the final period, but it was not enough and
Chester ran out
as reasonably comfortable winners. James Hamilton was the game's top marksman
with 31 points for the Jets, while team-mate Loren Meyer added 21.
Storm duo Michael
New and Barry Bowman shared 34 points for Derby.
