Bullets Birmingham bounced back from their disappointment on Saturday to
inflict
Chester Jets their
first championship defeat at the Northgate Arena by 91-99.
However the visitors
had to survive some early offensive pressure, particularly from former
NBA player, Loren Meyer, who netted a game-high 36 points, 21 of which
came in the first quarter alone.
Bullets trailed by
just two points, 55-53, at the half and led 71-74 heading into the final
quarter.
After play re-started,
Bullets hit a 0-10 run to snap a 78-78 tie and never looked back.
Brant Bailey led
the Birmingham scoring with 26 points.
