Leopards
took another huge step towards securing the runners up spot in the Southern
Conference after recording a hammering 59-90 victory over a short-handed
Brighton Bears.
The Leopards took
advantage of a Bears outfit missing Wilbur Johnson and Demetric Reese to
record a comfortable victory on the south coast. Although the hosts battled
hard to trail just 34-35 at half-time, Bob Donewald's side broke well clear
with a 30-14 final quarter run.
Jason Kimbrough and
Mo Robinson led all scorers with 21 points each for the victors. Kevin
Wallace notched a team-best 17 for Brighton.
