Westfield Sharks Sheffield stormed out of the blocks against the Pertemps Bullets Birmingham to win their BBL Championship clash 76-94 at Aston Villa. 

Sharks netted double the Bullets' first quarter total as they played an uncharacteristic fast break style, entering the second period 16-32 ahead. They also had the better of the second quarter, before a third period comeback by the hometown Bullets, who cut the deficit to four points at 54-58 with two minutes remaining. 

However, a 0-10 tear by the visitors in the final period, killed off Bullets chances and extended Sheffield's lead at the head of the Northern Conference.

Zac Bennett was the Sharks top marksman with 16 points, but England international Yorick Williams was the game's leading scorer with 19.
