Returning
hero Nigel Lloyd enjoyed his trip back to his former home as his Milton
Keynes Lions side defeated the Pertemps Bullets Birmingham 80-84 on Saturday
night at Aston Villa.
Lions' Jason Siemon
had an impressive night scoring a game high 32 points as Lloyd's new side
took control early on, enjoying a double figure lead throughout most
of the first half.
Down 44-49 at the
interval, Lance Randall's hosts fought back hard and took the lead at 63-61
after scoring 10 points without reply late in the third quarter.
However Bullets'
Chris Watson missed a late three pointer to force an extra period as the
Lions stayed cool down the stretch to claim their fifth BBL win of the
year.
Yorick Williams,
back from England duty, led the struggling hosts with 21.
