London Towers
snapped a five game losing streak to defeat the Pertemps Bullets Birmingham
79-82 on Saturday night to end Bullets hopes of claiming the runners up
berth in the BBL Championship Southern Conference.
The Towers turned
the game around with a 30-16 third quarter which took them from a 44-35
half time deficit to a 65-60 lead.
Once in front the
Londoners had to withstand some late Bullets pressure and Bullets missed
late three pointers which would have forced the extra period.
Towers Eric Burks,
Randy Duck, Steve Bucknall and Kendrick Warren all scored 17 points whiole
Virgel Cobbin fired a game-best 25 for Birmingham.
