London Towers saw
off a late Birmingham Bullets fightback to claim their tenth win of the
BBL Championship campaign 91-95 at Aston Villa.
A fast paced first
half in which the score remained within a two point differential for much
of the time, looked promising for the improving Bullets. However, Nick
Nurse's men secured a 36-41 lead going into half time and then had a 15-3
burst to start the second and lead 39-56.
Birmingham mounted
a fourth quarter charge and two three-pointers in the final minute trimmed
it to 91-93, before Steve Bucknall sealed the win from the line.
Brant Bailey led
the hosts with 28.
