Chester
Jets maintained their status as the only club with a 100% start to the
BBL Championship season with a 84-95 road victory over the Pertemps Bullets
Birmingham.
In a match which
was tied at 38-38 at half-time, the Jets reeled off a 3-11 third quarter
tear to break open a tense game and lead 55-63.
They then put the
game beyond their hosts starting the final stanza with a 2-8 run to lead
62-77. Bullets rallied to trim the gap to 7 at 71-78 but could get no closer.
Bullets guard Rob
Paternostro led all scorers with 29 points including 6 out of 6 three pointer
attempts while James Hamilton top scored for Chester on 19.
Birmingham were again
without centre Danny Craven who is out indefinitely with a scratched eye.
