Uniball Trophy : Towers on cusp of last eight
Haribo London Towers are one win away from nailing down a place in the last eight of the Trophy after their 70-80 win at Thames Valley Tigers.
Towers led for much of the game, up 25-33 at half time, but it wasn't until the fourth quarter they put the game beyond their hosts. Nine unanswered points helped the Towers into a 54-61 lead which they did not concede.
Danny Lewis led all scorers with 24 points for the Towers with Billy Singleton topping Tigers on 16..
