BBL Short-handed Tigers no match for Towers
London Towers extended their lead to six points at the top of the Dairylea
Dunkers Southern Conference with a 72-95 success on the road over the Thames Valley Tigers.The Towers roared clear in the final quarter posting two bursts of 11 unanswered
points the first giving them a 68-83 advantage and the second to close out the game.Earlier a Tigers side who were hit by the unexplained absences of both Jason Siemon and Casey Arena had battled hard to stay in touch through the first three quarters.
Steve Bucknall led all scorers with 20 while Greg Meldrum had 18 for the Tigers.
