Tigers late drought lapped up by Leopards
Thames Valley Tigers managed only three points in the last six minutes as they slipped to their fourth Dairylea Dunkers Championship defeat of the season, beaten 70-82 by the adidas London Leopards.
Honours were even at 33-33 at half time but the Tigers led 65-57 early in the fourth quarter. However after a 2-10 Leopards blast had levelled the scores at again 67-67, the Tigers began their costly points drought.
Bob Donewald's men took the lead at 69-70, and netted the game's last ten points to produce a flattering final scoreline.
Jason Kimbrough led all scorers with 28 points for the Leopards with Jason Siemon's 18 the best reply of the Tigers who remain in second place in the Southern Conference, one place above their conquerors tonight.
