BBL Myers keeps Lions play-off berth on ice
Westfield Sharks Sheffield edged two points closer to the Manchester Giants in the Dairylea Dunkers Championship Northern Conference with a 112-92 win at home to the Milton Keynes Lions.
The game was close in the early stages, but Sharks hit the final seven points of the first quarter to lead 29-22 and they never trailed again. Star guard, Terrell Myers was the Sharks' star man with a game-high 33 points, while Eric Burks les the visitors with 27.
However, despite the loss, Milton Keynes will still qualify for the Championship quarter-finals if they win at sole remaining rivals Leopards on Sunday.
