Towers snatch first Euro points
Haribo London Towers have ended their wait for a win in the Saporta Cup at the fifth attempt, defeating Okapi Aalst of Belgium 102-79 at Crystal Palace.
Towers never looked in trouble after overturning an early 2-8 deficit,
and were home and dry when 53-32 up at half time.Malcolm Leak led the Towers scoring with 26 points, Danny Lewis and
former NBA man Steve Bucknall netting 20 each.Croatia Split moved into second place in the Group G table with a 77-66 win at home to Adecco Milan while group leaders Darussafaka maintained their unbeaten record with a 72-91 victory in Sweden over Plannja.
