Coxless Lions mauled by Tigers









Thames Valley Tigers remained on course to claim second spot in the Dairylea Dunkers Southern Conference defeating the Milton Keynes Lions 73-84 At Bletchey. 

The Tigers rattled off 5 unanswered points to take a double figure final quarter lead at 53-63 with 8 minutes remaining. Lions fought back hard to trim the deficit to 5 at 72-67 with 2m remaining but could get no closer. The hosts, who were missing Modie Cox through injury, provided the games leading scorer, Tony Windless with 26 points. 

Tony Christie hit 20 for Thames Valley.
